North Downs, Kent, UK.
This was one of those epic February morning. Dense fog had been forecast the night before and, as is usually the case with these forecasts, it’s hard to discern what the nature of that fog’s going to be the next morning. I was up before dawn and decided to take a drive to a vantage point I know & like on the North Downs. This gives me an idea of whether the fog is blanketing the area, or just localised in the valleys. It was still pretty dark when I got to the top of the hill but I could tell the sky was clear above my head … so I waited for dawn. It was pretty special!
