This is a fresh process of an image I captured in mid-Autumn last year. I’ve learnt so much about processing in the past few months that I’m now at a stage where I’ve begun looking at many of my older images with a critical eye, and I’ve been inspired to come back to one of two of them to give them a new lease of life.
This early morning capture was taken deep in the heart of Kingswood. My original plan had been to capture the swirling mists around the road that runs through this part of the North Downs, but I couldn’t find a composition I liked, so I headed off on a longer hike into the heart of the woodland. The ‘Runway’ (my name for it!) is one of the many sculpture pieces in this sprawling woodland, and it’s a magical place where the trees part and imagination runs riot.
This image is now available as a print from my new online store with prices starting at just £15 for a 12in x 8in Gallery Quality Print. If you dig it, here’s the LINK.
