The beautiful church of St. Thomas a Beckett deep in the heart of Romney Marsh.
I love shooting this spot, day or night. The landscape is always changing, along with the light, and on this particular morning there was low lying fog to add to the scene. I stood in 18 inches of icy water for at least 30 minutes waiting for the light to come and then decided to change my composition slightly as the weak & watery sun slowly carved its way through the thicket of cloud.
The final image was created from 5 individual shots, stitched back together in Photoshop. This allows for much higher resolution images and prints.
